About Fix-It Lady

Our Founder’s Passionate Beginnings in Veterinary Care
Cynthia’s journey in veterinary care started even before she graduated from Purdue University in 1989, driven by a profound love and compassion for animals instilled by her parents. Achieving her first goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician in January 1990, she has since worked in various capacities in small animal hospitals and with Animal Health Distributors. Her meticulous attention to detail found its true calling in anesthesia service and repair, a field she excelled in since 2012.
Where It All Began…
The remarkable journey of Fix-It Lady took root in August 2020. Cynthia Burns’ bold move from northern Indiana to Kernersville, NC, in August 2016 alongside her husband marked the beginning of a new chapter. This significant relocation paved the way for fresh opportunities, culminating in the establishment of her own company.
Under Cynthia’s skilled guidance, Fix-It Lady has flourished, offering exceptional Anesthesia Equipment Service and Repair. Serving veterinary facilities across North Carolina, and extending into parts of South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, the company stands as a symbol of Cynthia’s dedication to delivering excellence, precision, and compassionate service in the veterinary field.
